Аnnotation: This article is devoted to detailing some areas of the map of the seismic hazard of the Barents Sea previously published by the author. In 2016, new maps of the OSR of Russia were published, but the adjacent water areas are not covered. The Barents Sea region, and especially the Pechora Sea, are potentially oil and gas bearing, important for industrial development, so knowledge of their seismic hazard level is necessary. In recent years, new deposits have been discovered here. In addition, new seismological data are emerging that allow us to refine previously obtained results. Estimation of the maximum expected ground movements on a probabilistic basis was made using the CRISIS system. The construction of probabilistic seismic hazard maps, as usual, is carried out in terms of maximum accelerations of ground movements PGA for return periods of 500, 1000 and 5000 years (10%, 5%, 1% exceedance probability in the next 50 years). Only the archipelago itself is seismically dangerous, and promising oil and gas areas around can be considered calm.
