Аnnotation: The article is about the study of systematic seismogenic deformations in walls of the medieval church of St. George monastery in Kaffa. Archeoseismological method used in this work provided the possibility to trace two significant stages of damages of the church during earthquakes, incl. strong and destructive. A comparative analysis of architectural features of the monument, its building periodization made it possible to date these earthquakes. The epicentral area of the first earthquake dated 1423 (event B), was located submeridially, to the South of the site, in the South Crimean Seismogenic Zone. The local intensity according to deformations of the church of St. George monastery is determined IL ≥ VII (MSK-64). The second earthquake (event A) is dated 08/08/1875. Its epicentral zone was located to the west of the city of Theodosia, the local intensity according to the deformations of the church is determined as IL = VII – VIII (MSK-64).
