Аnnotation: The article is a continuation of work to improve the methodology of seismic zoning of the Russian Federation territory. Computational technologies for probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA), widely used throughout the world, were developed at the end of the last century and have not undergone any significant changes over the past 20 years. As a rule, recent studies have focused on improving the models being included in the calculation: the earthquake source zones model (ESM) and the seismic effect model (SEM). In world practice, the PSHA technology is used both for the construction of general seismic zoning (GSZ) maps, and at the stage of detailed researches in the framework of engineering and seismological surveys for the construction of specific objects. At the same time, in accordance with the survey scale, a detailed elaboration of the earthquake source zone model is performed and the seismic effect model is adjusted according to regional data. In 2010-2016 in the process of updating the GSZ-97 and developing maps of the GSZ-2012/2014/2016 S.A. Peretokin and E.V. Bodyakin under the leadership of V.I. Ulomov was upgraded and related software. The new user interface was named EAST-2016. The article illustrates the use of GSZ-97 technology at the stage of refining the estimates of the initial seismicity. Using the example of the Southern coast of the Crimea peninsula, the seismic effect model of an extended source was corrected using regional macroseismic data. The obtained parameters can be used when performing work to refine the initial seismicity of the specified territory.
