Аnnotation: The paper presents the results of analytical and hardware development of the atmospheric electric field sensor – vibrorotary fluxmeter, designed for long-term operation in the field conditions of natural geophysical observations. A theoretical analysis of the generator measurement method based on mechanical modulation of the exposed area of the detecting plate is carried out. The circuit solutions, the general structure and algorithms for the functioning of the hardware and software of the sensor are described. Based on the development materials, prototypes of sensors were made. Technical characteristics and recommendations for the use of the devices are given. The sensors have been tested in laboratory conditions and during field observations of atmospheric boundary-layer electricity.
