Аnnotation: A method for controlling the displacement of the glare of the measuring beam using a video camera is presented, which allows not only to expose the laser beam along the local plumb line in the process of free fall of the test mass under the influence of gravity, but also creates the possibility of continuous control of vertical care during the entire session of gravimetric measurements (about 2-4 hours). This approach allows not only to fully automate the process of setting the vertical, but also on the basis of the data of operational control of each throw to organize various strategies for performing gravimetric measurements, allowing to reduce the time of measurements at the point, and, thus, allows you to increase the productivity of gravimetric work. Evaluation of the accuracy of the method showed that both the system of registration and determination of the magnitude of the deviation of the working beam from the vertical using a video camera, and the corrective system based on actuators fully provide the required accuracy of setting the vertical for high-precision measurements of the acceleration of gravity, while experimental verification showed that the error of setting the vertical does not exceed 310
