Keywords: instrumental seismological observations, mountain relief, azimuthal dependence of horizontal vibration amplitudes
Аnnotation: Using instrumental seismological observations, the features of horizontal vibration amplitudes along and across the crest of a mountain range during earthquakes were studied. It is shown that the spectral amplitudes of oscillations in the direction across the ridge significantly exceed the amplitudes of oscillations along the ridge in a wide range of frequencies, regardless of the azimuth to the epicenter, and the frequencies of natural oscillations along and across the ridge also differ significantly.
