Keywords: clustered earthquakes, aftershocks, single earthquakes, catalog declustering, magnitude of completeness, b-value, diurnal periodicity
Аnnotation: Magnitude of completeness Mc , slope of Gutenberg-Richter relationship b -value, and parameters of the diurnal periodicity of earthquakes separately for clustered and single events are calculated for the Greece earthquake catalog. It is established that Mc values of the clustered and single events change identically throughout the area and are equal to the Mc estimations for the whole catalog. The b -value in the single event samples are systematically more than similar values for the clustered events by 0.2-0.3 units. But there is visible difference in the zone structures with increased and decreased b -value. The genesis of the specific structures at the map constructed should be additionally studied. The pattern and parameters of the diurnal periodicity of the clustered and single earthquakes have only slight difference from each other and agree with the noise discrimination (observational selection) hypothesis.
