Аnnotation: Experimental study of the surface waves traveling along the bottom-water interface is described. Polarization analysis of the four-component ( X , Y , Z bottom displacement and water pressure P ) record shows that Love and Scholte waves were registered. Dispersion images and dispersion curves were constructed and inverted to the velocity model. It is shown that the survey design and equipment (including 0.6 l air-gun and multi-linear bottom antenna «Krot» constructed in Andreyev Acoustic Institute) allow obtaining good-quality Scholte wave data suitable for the shear velocity profile inversion. The method is designed for the shallow-water engineering geophysics studies that accompany oil and gas recovery infrastructure construction and seismic microzoning of the water areas.
