Аnnotation: The results of measurements of linear strains in adits on the bases of 1-100 meters allow us to study vibrational processes in a wide frequency range from tens of hertz to several years. In this case, both seismic waves from earthquakes and long-period signals associated with tectonic processes are recorded. The paper presents the results of measurements by tube and laser extensometers in the adit of the Talaya seismic station (coordinates 51.68° N and 103.65° E, Baikal region). The results of determining the elastic moduli of rocks from observations by extensometers, microbarographs, and petrophysical methods are presented. The study of intrinsic and tidal oscillations allows us to evaluate the integral rheological parameters of the Earth. The results of the analysis show good agreement with modern models of the Earth’s internal structure. Coseismic and long-term variations of volumetric deformation in the time of strong regional earthquakes are presented.
