Аnnotation: A statistical analysis of seismicity along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and studies on the features of some distributions of the earthquake parameters in this region has been carried out. The region under investigation extends in a narrow zone in the submeridional direction symmetrically with respect to the equator from 60° S to 60° N. The features of the location of seismic stations relative to the epicenters of earthquakes recorded in this region are considered. An annual period of seismic events has been identified. Statistical distributions of the space-time interval between pairs of events throughout the catalog were studied in two-dimensional space, and for each event the distance and time from all earthquakes contained in the catalog that occurred both before and before this event were determined. A two-dimensional spectral analysis of the catalog was performed in time and space, which allowed us to find evidence of the occurrence of standing waves. Traveling waves aren't found. The results of a two-dimensional spectral analysis are discussed from the point of view of a deep effect that controls the process of seismogenesis in the studied region.
