Keywords: tidal quartz tiltmeters, testing of tiltmeter, man-made technical tilts, regional deformation of crust, tidal deformation of Earth and it’s anomalies, effective rheology parameters, Baikal region
Аnnotation: We discuss measurement opportunities of quartz tiltmeters. Testing methods for this system are discussed too. The sensibility of Gridnev tiltmeters is calibrated with studied tasks. Examples of modern motion, tidal and man-made deformation were shown. Estimations for periodical thermal and man-made basement’s tilts were estimated for surface station (depth varied from 0 to 5 meters). Tilt’s measurement near water-reservoir at Irkutsk Electric Power Station show 20-40 second of arc and this result is connected with loading reaction (3-4 meters water level variation). Tilt”s variation at Ust-Balyk gas-oil deposit (West Siberia) showed values from 8 to 90 second of arc. Long-term variations and quick changes (up to 1 second of arc) connected with the deposit exploitation produce buildings vibration at Nefteyugansk town. Observation of underground galleries, made at Talay seismic station (Baikal region) and at Walferdange observatory (Luxemburg). At this condition we have opportunity of studying the tidal deformation of Earth, long-term tilt variation and co-seismic deformation. As result of tilt observation at Talay station at 1985-2015, estimations of tidal parameters were received, testing of tidal model was developed and phase anomaly (9°) connected with Baikal rift structure was shown. Long-term tilt trend was analyzed in frame of viscosity-elastic geological models. Effective viscosity for fault zone was estimated as 10
