Аnnotation: The possibility of using universal unmanned aerial platform for a wide spectrum of geological and geophysical researches was discussed. Various types of lightweight unmanned aircrafts and related equipment were considered. A specific example of using a multicopter for geological field research was considered. Recommendations provided in choosing UAV and avionics.
