Аnnotation: The A.V. Deshcherevskii’s article “The problem of atypical anomalies in the data of regime geophysical monitoring: Who is to blame and what to do?” can only be welcomed. Specialists know that a complicating factor, as noted both in the title of the article and in it itself, is the need for long-term monitoring observations. During that time devices resources and parameters may being changed and measurements quality too. So the proposed discussion of the problems was, is and will be relevant, although, of course, it is better to find solutions to them sooner than later. In the proposed commentary, however, there is not even an attempt to answer the question “who is to blame”, but, as part of the discussion, some considerations will be given in the section “what to do”, based on the author’s experience of holding geophysical experiments.
