Аnnotation: For the 30th anniversary of the journal “Science and Technological Developments” brief information about the history of the journal and its current state is given. Remaining for many years a multidisciplinary scientific publication, in 2016 the journal completely reoriented itself to geophysics, and from that moment its form changed, namely it began to be published in the form of thematic issues – 4 issues per year. Since 2010, the journal has been using double blind peer review. During this time, the bibliometric indicators of the journal have improved significantly, in particular in the period from 2011 to 2020, the two-year impact factor (IF2) according to the RSCI increased almost 8 times, and the five-year impact factor (IF5) almost 6 times, and in the period from 2014 to 2020, the growth was almost linear with an annual increase in IF2 by 0.134, and IF5 by 0.125 with correlation coefficients for the values of the impact factor with the ordinal number of the year 0.87 for IF2 and 0.98 for IF5, with a correlation coefficient between IF2 and IF5 equal to 0.92. According to the RSCI data for 2020, IF2 = 1.207, and IF5 = 1.027. The journal is translated into English by “Pleiades Publishing” and published as part of the “Seismic Instruments” journal, which is included in the Web of Science.
