Аnnotation: It is shown that the 580-year cycle of eclipses occurs due to the modulation of the Saros cycle (18.03) by the precession cycle of the Lunar orbit plane (18.61). The addition of these two cycles generates the 580 cycle of eclipses of the Moon and the Sun. A mathematical model of this cycle is constructed.
