Аnnotation: For regional earthquakes, the analysis of the cinematic parameter VP / VS , an analogue of the parameter TAU, was carried out in order to study the state of magmatic matter, structural features and seismotectonic position of the Avachinskaya-Koryakskaya and Dzenzur-Zhupanovskaya volcanic groups. The distribution of the parameter over the area and depth was investigated; the structure and state of matter of volcanic hearth were estimated. The questions about the sources of volcanic feeding, the connection and correlation of volcanic formations with the focal layer subducting under Kamchatka - the subduction layer are considered. An idea was obtained about the peculiarities of the distribution of the parameter VP / VS of the geological environment, the territory from the southern end of the Central Kamchatka Depression, the Ganalsky ledge of metamorphic rocks in the northwest, to the coastal slope of the Avacha Bay shelf in the southeast. The question of the seism tectonic position of the volcanic group, due to the peculiarities of the structure of the region under consideration, in particular with the Nalachevskaya dome-ring structure. It is shown that the VP / VS parameter carries information on the state of the geological environment of volcanic structures. On the change in its thermodynamic parameters - temperature, pressure, fluido and gas-saturation. The parameter is a marker and can provide information on the intense state of the broken structures of the geological environment, with the possibility of identifying compression areas-compacts, stretching-dilatations.
