Аnnotation: The paper discusses the results of the study of the seismic regime by LURR (load/unload response ratio) and SDP (self-developing processes). For the five strongest earthquakes on Sakhalin island from 2004 to 2018, SDP calculations were performed in the regions of abnormal LURR values, starting from the time of their occurrence. The combined use of the two methods for predicting seismic hazard on Sakhalin improved the accuracy of determining the time of the predicted event by an order of magnitude from several years to several weeks.
