Аnnotation: Results of single-channel Ultra High Resolution seismic survey were obtained for the eastern part of the Taman Bay. The seismoacoustic complexes are associated with novochernomorsky and karangat deposits down to the lower chauda, which are of the Quaternary ages. The folded structure of the Quaternary deposits of studied area is confirmed. Analysis of bedding of recent marine sediments as well as recent subsidence of Phanagoria indicate the Late Holocene tectonic activity of the Taman Bay depression. In two profile sections, signal coherence gaps were found, which we interpreted as areas of gas accumulation. The gas seepages are presumably related morphologically to the flank of adjacent Akhanizovskaya anticline. It is overall considered as the result of the shale diapirism of the Maikopian series.
