Аnnotation: In the climate conclusions of the astronomical theory of climate for the modern era, the problem associated with the contradiction between the reduction of incoming solar radiation and global warming has been identified. Solar radiation calculated by M. Milankovich and his followers at 65°N coming in the summer half is reduced. However, the consequence of this reduction is the global climate warming. It is determined that the global climate warming is associated with a decrease in inclination of the Earth`s rotational axis, which began about 9,500 years ago. The degradation of the last ice sheet in Northern Europe and America and the beginning of the modern interglacial epoch are synchronized with a decrease in the inclination of the Earth’s rotation axis. The reduction of incoming solar radiation at 65 ° N in the summer half of the year is associated with a decrease in the axis tilt and reflects a synchronous amplification of the meridional insolation gradient. The meridional insolation gradient associated with the change in the axis inclination regulates the meridional heat transfer. The enhancement of the meridional heat transfer determines the temperature regime of the global climate. The astronomical chronology of global climatic events in the Pleistocene needs to be revised due to new knowledge of the causes of climate change.
